Energizing Green Smoothie

A green smoothie is one of the constants around our house. Energizing, good for you and easy. green smoothie  Leafy greens are nutritional powerhouses that help build your immune system and reduce allergies/and asthma.


  • 1/2—1 cup water
  • 3-4 leaves of kale, stems removed
  • 1 banana, cut into pieces
  • 1 pear, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 package of ground flax seeds


  • Pour water into blender and turn on to lowest speed
  • Add one kale leaf at a time, increase blender speed
  • Add banana, if smoothie becomes too thick add more water
  • Add pear, mango and flax seeds, a little bit at a time.
  • Blend until smooth

Also try these:

Pineapple, avocado, ginger, apple, berries, kiwi, nuts, seeds, swiss chard, carrots or anything else that suits your taste.
